Communications Manager, Advertising and B2B -- Yelp

FIVE THINGS ABOUT THE JOB:
Develop and communicate Yelp’s business owner narratives, and own strategy and execution of advertising and B2B public relations programs.
Build and maintain strong relationships with advertising, technology and business press and secure accurate and positive coverage of Yelp’s advertising products and value to businesses. Develop and pitch stories that communicate and reinforce Yelp’s business owner and advertising narratives.
Maintain network of internal stakeholders and collaborators to help you identify and leverage opportunities in support of our advertising and B2B communications objectives.
Both respond to inbound press inquiries on issues related to business owners or Yelp’s ad products; draft messaging and statements, and provide background information to help reporters understand critical aspects of a story and develop and pitch stories that communicate and reinforce Yelp’s business owner and advertising narratives.
6-8+ years experience in communications for technology brands, with a focus on advertising PR and/or SMBs; Bachelor's in communications, journalism or a related field.
